Group Accounting & Technical Accounting

The Group Accounting Manager and Chief Accounting Officer are responsible for accounting policies, the close process, relationships with statutory auditors and technical accounting for complex transactions (business combinations, capital transactions, financial instrument accounting and risk provisions). In international groups, coordinating IFRS with local accounting standards is a significant part of the role and requires a dual-skilled profile.

Group Consolidation & Reporting

Consolidation is a highly technical discipline requiring several years of experience with dedicated tools (BFC, HFM, Tagetik and OneStream) and a detailed understanding of intercompany flows, consolidation adjustments, reverse acquisitions and disposals. The Group Consolidation Manager oversees the entire process, from monthly subsidiary reporting through to publication of consolidated financial statements. In listed groups, the role also carries significant responsibility for technical financial communications and the notes to the financial statements.
